Simple in
name and in concept, ROY is the brainchild of Fred
Roy and Nancy Olson. “Clean, Strong and Warm”
is the mantra chanted as they make the determining
cuts as to what makes the store floor and what doesn't.
ROY is positioned
to appeal to tourists as well as the precious local
clientele. Roy and Olson have kept the assortment
narrow so they can be in stock for those last minute
dinnerware emergencies. Backorders should be the
exception instead of the rule.
The Roy/Olson
team is committed to bringing the art and craft
of true artisans to their customer, and they try
to support domestic vendors whenever possible. The
aesthetic has already been a hit with most everyone
that walks through the ever-sticking front door.
